Gallery pro 3.1 crash wordpress

Hello I'm using and purchasing this plug in but when active in wordpress, I can not access the admin or web page, I have to remove the plugin to work all over again.

I suppose that is because my old 2.9.2 version wordrpress.

where I can download an older version of pro gallery that works magic for me

URGENT! Only 10 most recently created Galleries appear in the Attach Gallery menu

I realized what was going on--as I added new galleries, the older ones were dropping off the end of the list. I looked in the code and don't see where it might be limited to none plus 9, but I'm no expert.

The following style in gallerystyles.php is cutting the list of thumbs of en put them under each other instead of next to each other. I removed the width: '$options['pika_width'].'px !important; and all is fine. This needs to be removed in the next update.

Hi Is anyone able to help setup this plugin ? I had 2.0 and have now deleted that and thought this would be easy to setup and use but now I have NO photo gallery ! Any help would be appreciated.

Password protected gallery shows pictures without entering password

I need to have some password protected galleries, but when i password protect the gallery (fancybox) it is shown under the password-input field.

I bought the plugin today for a website I'm creating. It's generally good, but I have some problems with it.

When I remove a picture from a gallery it is removed completely from the media library. This is a problem if I (or some users) have added an image to the library and some one added it to a gallery and want to remove it again from the gallery without deleting it completely from wordpress.

Also I have to click "insert into post" and then remove it form the content to add a picture to the gallery. This seems very silly.

I also had to edit the plugin to get the link to the settings page to show. The if condition is not working properly it seems.

It is a good plugin with the pikachoose support. With these things fixed I could recommend it to others. :)

Can't add images to a gallery from the media library

Uploading images from my computer works fine, but when I try and add images from my Media Library or from url, the dialog says "Insert into Post". Clicking that inserts the image into the gallery post, but does not add it to the gallery itself.

Only some of my galleries appear in the "Attach Gallery" box

It looks like none of the galleries which have the name of the gallery and the tag for the gallery that are the same are showing up. In other words, I have the following list of galleries and tags:

Abbott Still

Austin Ballet People

Dell Still

Hunt Location

Location Gallery Location (doesn't show up)

I also have a series of pages with custom templates that mirror this tag layout, so there is a page "/photography" (this uses a template "Landing Template") and a page "/photography/location" (Photography Template) and a page "/photography/location/hunt" (Photography Template). I can pick the "Hunt" gallery to show on the ../hunt page, but the "Location Gallery" gallery does not appear. I am really confused.

1. My wordpress version is 3.3.1, plugin ver. 3.1, OS Ubuntu/Linux

2. Maybe magic gallery plugin conflicts with one of the plugins?!

It's seems weird i have installed this plugin on my web, but I want to customize setting for this plugin ( change size of image thumbnail, and also image size) but in my web setting didnt appear, but in my localhost it appeared. Unfortunately i can't upload image in my local, when I deactivated this plugin I can upload my image.. may i attach the picture. this is in my web..

Fatal Error upon activating plugin

Should I be updating my wordpress to 3.3.1??

Edit: I just updated to Wordpress 3.3.1 but I still have the same error.

Fails to add images

I have jsut installed th latest version and when i add images it jsut stays on crunching.
running on local host so its its not a permissions issue.

Also very disapointed with the adding of images, why does it list all the images on site underneath the gallery post?

The amazing way to upload picture in folder name as the shortcode WAY the reason to buy this plugin... NOW that's gone... i feel rape !.... why so good idea, just got wash on new update !... I dont need the fancy post type, just create gallery id=23, use the shortcode, and ftp file in the folder.... GET ME BACK 2.0 options... !

Oh, BTW... one really bad habit of your plugin is to break qtranslate.... it's just go crazy when your plugin is activated, and I NEED qtranslate... maybe use jquery without the $ and activate noconflic... or just debug it to fix that annoying bug....

I like to be happy with my purchase, but, no, FTP gone, new post type, lot of option lost !... why ?

Also I switched the slideshow to vertical via css, but the carousel isn't working (just static images).

Keep gallerys from showing in archive feed

Hi gallery works great but can't seem to hide it completely from news feed. Have tried setting a category to be hidden from feed but the gallery page still shows up when using the calendar archive. If you click on the gallery entry it doesn't actually show it as a regular post it just shows the gallery in the url /demo-gallery and loads the other posts.

Any ideas how I can get my galleries to only show on pages and not turn up in my news/blog feed? Thanks!

I just installed Magic Gallery, but I can't find the options to modify size of images/etc. (I want to use Pikachoose's vertical slider)...

I have magic gallery in admin menu but it is just adding a menu not modifing any options...

I also want to remove all buttons/text from the images too. Only the Jquery carousel from pikachoose and the main image is what I want.

There are some typos and grammatical errors in the Magic Gallery info

Admin Interface not displaying

Hi I just purchased Magic Gallery Pro which I am running on Wordpress 3.3.1.

I have uploaded the files and activated the gallery. The Admin tab is not showing up on my dashboard (see attached screen shot). The interface is not throwing an error. So, I have no idea what is going on.

Anybody have a similar issue?

I made some changes to start_fancypika.js (namely the options for .PikaChoose: ({autoPlay: false, transition:[2], buildFinished:a, text: {previous: "", next: "" }}). It'd be better to have those be in the admin interface somewhere.

I've been having issues with my whole wordpress site ever since I activated Wordpress SEO and Google Analytics for Wordpress plugins. However even when I deactivate these plugins, my site is extremely slow. I then deactivated Magic Gallery with SEO and Analytics still activated and my website was running fast again!

So I'm not too sure if it has anything to do with clashing plugins or if it is something else but is there any solution to this? It seems to be affecting my whole site and not just the gallery.

I'd like to just show the full-size image with the pikachoose carousel as an image selector. Can I do that, especially when some images are tall, some are are wide.

Adding an extra blog

I'm trying to add a blog to my website. The blog appears to contain all posts from the website ie. includes all galleries from magic gallery as well as blog posts. I found away around this by installing a separate plugin that allows me to publish the blog based on a category.

However the only problem I have is that the blog layout follows the same layout as Magic Gallery. Is there a way to have a separate layout in a proper blog format?
